This is my IE Reflection.

Another Win For Liverpool

Liverpool have beaten Huddersfield to go up two places in the Premier League. They are now sixth on the table. I liked all of the goals but my favorite one was Daniel Sturridge's because I liked the way he scored. The person that scored first was Daniel Sturridge. The next person that scored for Liverpool was Firmino. The last person that scored for Liverpool was Georginio Wijnaldum.

Weekly Reflection T4 Wk3

I have had a great week this week because I have nearly finished all of my tasks on my checklist. I only have to finish 4 more things and then I am all done. On Tuesday we all went down to the college and attended to their Arts Festival. I had a lot of fun doing all of the workshops and being able to learn how to use something new that I have never heard of. It's called Fire Alpaca. I also completed my read theory this week and I went up a progress level.

Huge Success\Win for Liverpool

Liverpool have gone to the top of the table in their group of the Champions League after beating NK Maribor 7-0. The first goal was scored by Firmino in the 5th minute. The second goal was scored by Coutinho in the 13th minute. The third goal was scored by Mahumad Salah in the 19th minute. The fourth goal was scored by Muhammad Salah again. The fifth goal was scored by Firmino again.The sixth goal was scored by Alex Oxlade Chamberlain. The final goal was scored by Trent Alexander Arnold. My favourite goal was Coutinho's because I like the way he plays.

Holiday Reflection

This is my Aunty that I spent time with in the holidays. I went to the Mega Zone Laser Tag in Auckland with my aunty and uncle and my two baby cousins. We got to play Mini Golf while we waited and after we finished playing Mini Golf my uncle won. When we went into the battle field of Laser Tag I got one of the bases. After we finished playing I looked at the score and my uncle won then we played some video games.   

End of term Reflection

  My three favourite experiences about this term are going to Volleyball,being apart of the Learning In The Making,and P.E. The reason I choose Volleyball is because I liked where we got to play games. The next experiment that I choose was Learning In The Making. The reason that I choose Learning In The Making is because there was a lot of workshops and a range to choose from. My favourite workshops were Mat ball,Sport Fun and Police Fun. The reason that  I choose P.E was because I liked the different games that we played every time.

Pet Dog

Today I made a pet dog for pet day, I made it out of playdough. The name that I gave it is Moko Harrison because I like that name his age is 3 years old. The things that Moko Harrison likes are video games like Fifa 17,he also likes wrestling. Now I am going to tell you a story about Moko Harrison and what happened to him. One lovely day Moko Harrison was running around playing fetch and then suddenly he ran onto the train tracks and got run over now his legs are a bit wonky,but Moko Harrison survived with four very sour legs.

Volleyball Reflection

We have been doing Volleyball for 3 weeks and today we all did a tournament. We played 7 games and won 4 and lost 3. Something I learned while I was at Volleyball was something called the Serve,Set,Dig,Spike. I really like playing Volleyball,the people in my team are Callum,Alexa,Finn,Summer,Luke,Ella,Layla and Me. My coaches names are Josh,Morgan and Paige. My favourite thing about Volleyball was playing the games because then I could learn from my mistakes from the last game.  
   

Weekly Reflection T4 Wk9

This week we went to Volleyball at the college. We played two games and won both of them. My team is undefeated, we have won all of our games. Something I enjoyed this week was doing my Duolingo because I went a level up and I have a higher fluency. I followed my Mi Plan this week and I have nearly finished summarising my questions.          

Weekly Reflection WK 8

This week we started doing Volleyball at the college. We go on a Wednesday and a Thursday,my team has three coaches their names are Josh,Morgan and Paige. Yesterday we played a game and we won. My goal for next week is to do more on my read theory and achieve all of my Mangahigh Assigned tasks. Something that I need to focus on next week is to finish all of my work.    

Horrible Outcome For Liverpool

On Saturday the 9th of September at 11:30PM Manchester City hosted Liverpool in what was predicted to be a 2-1 win for Manchester City. Well things didn't turn out that well for Liverpool they lost 5-0. Before the match was played Liverpool were in second place on the table with 7 points which is two wins and a draw. The team in first place was Manchester United with 10 points. But since Liverpool lost they are now eighth on the table still with 7 points and now Manchester City are second on the table behind Manchester United. There are still a lot of rounds left in the Premiere League so a lot can change.

Weekly Reflection

This week we had Moana-Nui come in to our class because their teachers went to a school in Tauranga. We had to spilt off into buddy's,my buddy was Boe. I used two learning powers the first learning I used was Connecting because all day on wednesday I connected with Boe,we made a spiderman superhero and I helped Boe with his reading and maths. The second learning power that I used was Creativity because we had to be creative with what we made.

Weekly Reflection T3 WK6

This week I started a new language on Duolingo. The new languages that I am learning are Spanish and German. I finished all of my mangahigh tasks and now I am 4th in the classmates ranking and 11th in the all students ranking. This week I also completed my word of the week. A goal for me next week is to try and make it to Tuakana.

Day off school

Yesterday I wasn't at school because my mum had a hospital appointment in Hamilton. Before we went to Hamilton we went to Auckland and got some things from the shop. We were in Auckland for about four hours. We had Wendy's for lunch and then I went to the PB technology and played on there ps4 and computer. I played two games the first game I played was on the ps4 and it was called fifa 15. The second game I played was on the computer and it was called Race Trial. After we left PB technology we went and saw my aunty. I got to see my two cousins and when I got there they were so happy and excited to see me. 

Weekly Reflection

This week I achieved all of my assigned Mangahigh tasks. Something I really enjoyed this week was listening to Melissa Ingram's story and experience about going to the Olympic games twice. The first time that Melissa went to the games was in 2008 at Beijing and the second time she went it was in 2012 at London. Melissa Ingram competed for New Zealand in swimming.

Crusaders crowned 2017 Super Rugby champions

I am so happy that the Crusaders won the super rugby final and beat the lions to be crowned the new 2017 Super Rugby Champions. The Crusaders are my favourite team in super rugby. The crusaders were the the first ones to get any points in the game. Before the start of the super rugby season started I said that I hope the Crusaders win and they did. Just before half time Lions flanker Kwagga smith was red carded after tackling crusaders fullback David Havili. At half time the score was 15-3. The crusaders number 8 Kiran Read scored the first try in the second half and extended the Crusaders lead out to 25-3. It took the Lions 63 and a half minuets to score there first try of the game due to a tired crusaders defence. After the Lions scored the score was 25-10 to the crusaders. The lions crossed the line soon after there first try making the final score 25-17 to the crusaders.

Weekly Reflection

This week has been a good week for me because I got all of my mangahigh tasks done and I am 1st in the classmates rankings and 3rd in the students rankings. I also got two blogposts done this week. Another thing that I got finished was my word of the week. Word of the week is about someone chooses a word and then we have to write a blog post about that word and if you want to there is a competition where you can win a chocolate fish or a red skin. I have followed my Mi plan this week too.

Long Weekend

On sunday my mum,my dad,my brother and I went to Taupo. On the way to Taupo my dad and I saw a pig hunting competition and there was heaps of dead pigs. When we got closer to Taupo we saw a drifting competition. When we got to Taupo we went to dads friends house. While my dad was at his friends house my mum took my brother and I to the park and we played for about two hours and while we were there I saw my cousins. Then we had to leave and go pick up my dad because he wanted to get some lunch. We had pizza for lunch and after that we went home.

Excited for Soccer

One fine morning lived a boy called Neo. Neo was 12 years old and lived in New Zealand. He had lots of friends. His friends names were Raiden,Valentino,Charlie,Logan,Matthew,Joshua and many more. Neo plays soccer and Valentino,Charlie and Logan are in his team. On Thursdays Neo’s soccer team has training and on a saturday his team has to play 2 games. Their team is called the Hauraki Plains Pythons. We have played 10 games so far and have won 9 and drew 1. We are undefeated and 1st on the table with 28 points. Our next game is in Thames against Thames Taipans. The position that I play is left or right striker. We have 2 teams the other team is called Hauraki Plains Panthers. They are 8\9 on the table.

Winter Sport

This year I am playing Soccer. It is my first year playing and I am enjoying it. We have done lots of training and last night at training we got told our teams. I made the A team which is called the Pythons. At training last night I scored two goals the first one was when Daniel was goalie and Valentino passed the ball to me and then I scored. The second goal was when Raiden was in goalie and he said he had his eyes on me and then I took a shot at goal and it curled and went in to the top left corner of the net. On the 6th of May it was our first soccer game of the season. We played in Whenuakite. When we got there we started to train and then our first game started at 9:00 and we won 5-1. The second game started at 9:45 and we won 4-1.

Magic Balloon

Scientific Method-Balloon Magic Banana Pill's

	What will happen? Will it explode? Will it work?
	I think that the balloon will blow up
	Materials: -Balloon -Baking Soda -Vinegar -Plastic Bottle -Funnel -Spoon FIrst use the funnel to add the baking soda to the balloon. Then put the vinegar in the bottle. Carefully put the balloon over the top of the bottle. Once you are ready lift the balloon upwards tipping the baking soda into the vinegar and watch what happens.

	When we mixed the vinegar with the baking soda it made the balloon go bigger.
	The acid and the base mixed together and made a chemical reaction, it made CO2 that inflate the balloon. When the acid and the base got mixed together it made a fizz.

IE Reflection

On Monday Marama shared there IE's and invited parents and family members to come in and watch us share. I shared my IE with my mum.

Goal for camp

My goal for camp is to try all of the challenges and use our learning powers. One of the learning powers I will use is Curiosity because if I don't know what to do on a challenge then I will ask anyone around me for help. Another learning power that I will use is Being Me because I will have to show being me when I pick what challenge I want to do and not do what my friends are doing. The third learning power that I will use on Camp is Resilience because I cant give up when we do the activity's. The last learning power that I will use on Camp is Connecting because I will have to Connect with the people that I work with at Camp and the group's that I will be in. Some things that will help me have a great experience on Camp are having a growth mindset,Being polite to others and showing respect. If I have a problem at Camp I will speak to someone that is closest to me.

If u didn’t retire how many more years would you play for the All Blacks?

I would thank Richie Mccaw for being such a great captain for the All Blacks and when they were down you would cheer them up by saying positive words to them like keep trying.

IE Reflective Blog Post

What I hope to understand more deeply through this inquiry is how and why cars do certain things. The knowledge I will need to help move towards this understanding will be learning about car brands and their efficiencys,how a car is made,pro and cons of new and old cars. The skills that I will need are research and talking with experts. The learning powers that I will have to use are Resilience because if you cant get help you need to keep trying. Another learning power I will use is Curiosity because you have to be curious and ask questions.

Weekend Story

In the weekend I went to my nana's house on Friday night. Then on Saturday we went to Auckland to see my aunty,uncle and my two baby cousins. When we got there my oldest baby cousin was having lunch. I was so excited to see my youngest baby cousins because it was my first time seeing her since she was born. Then on sunday me, my brother,my nana and my poppa went to Elvis In The Gardens. It was at the Botanical Gardens on Everglade Drive In Auckland. When we got there the cover up Elvis guy was already singing Elvis’s songs. There were two Elvis cover up people. My brother and I got photos with the first Elvis guy we also got to go up by the stage and watch the guy sing. They were giving out free scarves. One person that was in the crowd got one of the belt things that Elvis usually wears when he has a concert. At the Elvis In the Gardens you got to go on Bouncy Castles that were free to go on. Me and my brother went on them there were four Bouncy Castles. One was a wipeout one with obstacles in it. The second one was a Jungle with monkeys on the side. The third one was a Disney Princess one and the last one was a Spongebob one which had a basketball hoop inside it but we weren't aloud to play with it because the guard said that the ball could hurt someone. When we left the Elvis In The Gardens we went back to my aunty and uncle's house and then we went home after we had dinner there.

Super Rugby season starts

I am really excited that the Super Rugby Season has started again because I like watching the New Zealand teams play the other teams that aren't from New Zealand and I like seeing the final score. My favourite New Zealand teams in the Super Rugby are the Crusaders,Highlanders and the Hurricanes. In the last two years the Highlanders and the Hurricanes have won the Super Rugby. The Highlanders won in 2015 and the Hurricanes won last year. This year I hope the Crusaders will win. The Blues versed the Melbourne Rebels and won 56-18. The Chiefs versed the Highlanders and won 24-15. The Hurricanes versed the Sun Wolves and won 83-17. The final game was the Crusaders verse the Brumbies and the Crusaders won 17-13.

Tuakana Teina

I put myself at Tupu because I know that I can make the right choices but I don't always make the right choices. My goal is to get to Tuakana by trying to always make the right choices. If I make it to Tuakana I will be able to help others that are only on Tupu or Teina because I will be a expert. Teina means that you are still learning to make the right choices in Marama and that you need help with your learning. Tupu means that you arn't quite at Tuakana but you can get there and that you might need to ask for help so then when someone else is stuck on that same thing you will be a expert. Tuakana means that you are a expert in your learning so you can help others that are on Tupu and Teina. If you are Tuakana then you will be able to listen to music and do things that Tupu or Teina might not be able to do because you are trusted by the teachers.

Weekly Goal Reflection

My Goal for this week is to get two blog posts done so that I can get ready to do another two for next week. I have been trying to get as much blog posts done as I can. Another goal for me is to try and not sit with my friends because then I will be able to focus more on my learning without sitting next to my friends. In Marama our goal for all of us is to be brave by sitting next to people that we don't usually sit with and work with people that we don’t usually work with.

Logical Smart is my highest smart because I am a pretty good mathematician and I like to get as much help as I can if I am stuck on something in maths.

One Word

My one world for me this year will be Sports. I choose this word because I like playing sports and I love Rugby. Im also starting to like playing Soccer. I think this will help my learning because when I play Rugby I have to show resilience and connect with the people in my Rugby team.
